She hated being alone, she had been alone for a while. So she decided to enter this oddly shaped forest. The trees they looked weird, cool, and relaxing and she never saw trees like these before. Lae thought to herself that she would stay in this place for a little a while before heading off. Lae was aware that someone else could be in here with her, human or not, she wasn't afraid to meet the stranger. Lae slowly walked around, letting the branches touch her back and she didn't mine it. Lae thought to herself she could grow some plants while she was here. Lae walked some more and she started to get a feeling, a feeling that somebody was here. She stopped walking and stood still, waiting to see if somebody would show their them self to her.

Twilight was resting elsewhere in the forest, and so Erviin was up to her old antics; watching the trails and checking that no unnecessary evil of the humans was afoot. She made her way through the trees, stepping lightly through them from branch to branch, making as little noise as possible except the creak of the branches under her weight. It was a good thing that she was a wisp of a girl; it was impossible to not be when you lived in the woods eating leaves and nuts and berries like the woodland animals. She had never touched meat in her entire life; and since living out in the woods she did not have any sort of processed food to eat either. She tilted her head and hugged the trunk of a tree as a twig broke beneath her; something large was in the woods with her. Peering down, she spotted the mare. She recognized it as a horse at the first glance, but when the mare turned her head, she saw the horn. She let loose an astonished gasp, and quickly stepped to another branch to hide herself from the mare. The mare seemed not to notice at first except to look in her direction, and Erviin peeked around and followed in the trees above, keeping herself hidden from view as she watched the mare walking along. The mare stopped again, and Erviin hugged the tree branch to steady herself, watching the mare as she seemed to look around for whoever was following her. Realizing she had been sensed, Erviin realized she best reveal herself. Gently, she let herself down from the branch, sitting on it before jumping down to the ground about ten feet behind the mare. She looked to her, tilting her head but still staring in awe as she straightened herself up and stood to full height; about a foot higher than the mare's withers. She stood still as a tree as she extended her hand toward the mare, otherwise making no movements.
