Let it never be said that the Firefly Falls does not have interesting names for its buildings. Old Man Jenkins, one of the first inhabitants, started this veterinary practice; and was one of the best farriers in town, so started a farrier shop as well. When he died though, his son didn't quite get the veterinary thing, so he just ran them both while hiring other staff for the Veterinary clinic.
Now the farrier runs itself out of one of the side rooms of the building and his farrier truck, while the vet practice maintains a two-three veterinarian practice for small animals, exotics, and large animals.

Even cattle drivers needed somewhere to keep their valuables, which is how the bank got its name. It has been open since a few years after the town was settled in the 1800s, and has never once been robbed. They have the highest tech security available, so believe me your money will be safe.
They have undergone several renovations over the past many years, and have turned away from their colonial roots to boast a more gothic style now.

When the Firefly Falls was first settled, not everyone agreed what religion they should practice. As more people moved in, even more discrepancies arose. As the town government began granting building licenses to the churches, they did not want the town to be divided, or appear to be too over run by the church so they decided that all of them had to be built on the same street. Still, it is quite a site to see everyone in town in their Sunday best, and it has not seemed to ever cause a problem; all serving the common good, the churches plan activities around each other.

In the 21st century though, not all of the churches are still active, and some of the buildings have fallen into disrepair.

Every Saturday, the grocery store hosts a farmer market from spring into fall. Many of the residents come to get fresh fruits and vegetables. The grocery has a small produce section because of this, but is more like a WalMart in respect to having pretty much everything, including a pharmacy, a minute clinic, and an optometrist.

One of the first cinemas to be added when movie going first became the thing, this cinema is a bit run down, but certainly has a homey feeling. They tend to show movies that have been out a while, not necessarily showing movies right when they are released. But, they do have a decent little arcade attached, which is mainly what keeps them going.

Looking for a new pair of boots, or maybe a new pet? Jimmy may have opened this place when this town was nothing but horse country, but as it has grown it has adopted a lot more smaller and more bed friendly critters to adopt or buy supplies for.
