SHOPPE AND EARNINGS
The monetary system is based off of your posting. The more active you are, the more you make. You will earn money in all of the categories, though obviously you will earn the most for posting IC. The following table displays the earnings:

As you can see, it is actually geared more toward getting replies in and interacting. So while it is important to get your own plotter up, you will get more points for actually replying to someone else's and trying to plot something out, or adding to your tracker.
In regards to this, please note that if you purchase a subboard for your character logs, we will set your board so that new threads and posts both equal 10.
Participation in site events will also earn extra money, depending on the event. Generally if you complete an event thread in the specified time, you will receive double.
Contests will periodically be held with prizes in money, such as advertising contests. You will receive credit for both work done (such as $5 per site posted on), and of course the grand prizes. Depending on the type of contest, the prizes could be specific things off of this thread.
Most of the prices are based off of the idea that approximately 500 currency can be earned by completing an IC thread. (this is approximately 20 replies per roleplayer) Please have at least one IC thread completed for the characters you are purchasing levels for, unless you are purchasing them before creation. For example, you finish one thread, you level them up to level 2. You finish a thread with them at level 2, then purchase level 3. This is to ensure continuity in threads. If something happens in the thread that causes them to level, please indicate it in your purchase.
MERCHANDISE FOR CHARACTERS
Magical Characters:
You are allowed two magical characters starting off and an additional one for every two regular characters. If you wish to ONLY play magical characters, then you can do so by purchasing extra ones.
Price: 1000 (Two threads worth of posting to show you are active!)
Free form Magical Characters:
Don't like any of our ideas and want to create something entirely different without us being able to deny the character? (We're pretty flexible, but this would apply to insanely RARE types of characters. You might try contacting staff first and asking, as we may go ahead and accept your character. If not, you can purchase this.) Once created, these characters start as LEVEL 3.
Price: 2500
Magical Abilities:
Please see the level introduction in regards to magical creatures. As it says, all characters start at base level 1 when they are created UNLESS it is purchased prior to them being accepted. Levels must be purchased on top of each other; if you want to create a level 3 character, you will need to purchase level 2 AND level 3. These are priced according to conceivably what finishing a complete thread with them should cost. Levels may be gifted by staff depending on the quality of posts and activity.
Leveling Up:
LEVEL 2: Full knowledge of abilities and begin to manipulate them at will. May still not be able to control them entirely however, and most at will spells are still weak.
Price: 500 (approximately one thread worth)
LEVEL 3: Ability to control their abilities and at will spells become a little stronger. If magic is tied to emotion, may still be stronger when emotion is present.
Price: 1000 (approximately three threads worth)
LEVEL 4: Full control over ability, no longer affected by emotion. At will abilities are a little stronger, but could not level a town.
Price: 1500 (since you will have already had to purchase level 2 and level 3, totalling 3000)
LEVEL 5: At will abilities able to overpower most anyone that is not an equal.
Price: 2000 (total of 5000)
LEVEL 6/beyond: This is for people who basically want to become a super sayian. If for instance you had fire ability, you could basically create a blast that levels the town.
Price: 3000
Extra Abilities:
These abilities are available to add AFTER you have created your character with other abilities. They are add ons only. These abilities are unable to be leveled past level 3. (You are basically granted one-two of these already depending on what type of magical creature you are creating.) Some of these CAN be purchased for regular characters, but that is on a case by case basis as there is not really any need for it.
Stealth/Invisibility: While you don't necessarily disappear when first purchased, you will be much better at hiding. This could be useful for attacks or to simply avoid being seen.
Price: 500
Elemental Powers: Please specify which element you wish to manipulate. This cannot be added to werewolves or vampires unless they are learning some sort of spell casting. Generally this is added to witches, fey creatures, or magical animals. (Such as a unicorn).
Price: 500
Psychic Abilities: Please give a description of what psychic ability you would like to add on to your character. Some of these can be gifted if there is a significant event that happens in a person's life (such as seeing someone die and then being able to see ghosts). These can be added to regular characters after such an event.
Price: Varies, please fill out the form and contact staff to review. They will not exceed 500, but may be less depending on the case
Price: 500
Curse: This is in the case of being bitten by a werewolf or a vampire. This can be purchased by EITHER the person doing the biting or the one being bitten, or they can share the price. This MUST be purchased before you can convert a character, whether you have a plot going or you simply want to have them be attacked by some random person. This can ONLY be purchased if you have not reached your magical character limit. If you have reached your character limit, there must be an IC reason for doing so. Depending on the length of an IC plot thread regarding this, this may be gifted by staff.
Price: 500
Arcane Knowledge: This is basically if your character decides to become some sort of witch, warlock, wizard, etc. They can always expand from there. This can be purchased at any point after creation. If they are created as a witch/warlock/wizard, and cast spells, speak in tongues, whatever, they count as a magical character.
Price: 250
Shifting Ability: This is for magical creatures ALREADY, shifters already who wish for additional forms, or witches/wizards/warlocks who are looking to expand their ability to shifting. This is good for ONE additional shifting form. To have the ability to shift into any form, you must have created a shifter.
Price: 750
Mythical Languages: These are languages that will cause a character to be able to speak to animals, plants, etc. These can be purchased for regular characters. You can create a character who already knows these languages, this is for after creation.
Languages Available: Sylvan (woodland, nature) , Animal (this grants the ability to talk to all, but you would still need to roleplay out learning each language. You're not going to be able to immediately understand a squirrel, you'd have to work with it a little while.), Draconic, Fey (though most of the time they know common tongue)

Virgin Mary: Really want your character to have children but haven't found them a man yet and want us responsible for the stats? Please purchase this. You must have been active on the site for at least a month.

Magic Guarantee: Have two non-magicals that you want to ensure your babe is born with magic? Please purchase this item. You will get to choose the magic they carry!
Price: 500
Choose Eye Color: Want a random eye color that otherwise the child would have genetically no chance of getting? The fairies are at work here. Purchase this item.

Choose Coat/Hair Color: Want to choose a random coat color? Please purchase this item...there are two options:
For a color specified by their genetics but low percent chance: 500
For a totally random genetic mutation/abnormality: 800
Super Mom: To safe guard against the mother having complications. This must be purchased before the stats are given.

Flower Power: To guarantee that the child is a girl.

Mega Man: to guarantee that the child is a boy.
Price: 500 (The reason this is more expensive is because technically boys are more rare and to keep population down.)
Twin Guarantee: If you would like to guarantee twins, this item can be purchased. Humans will still receive the roll for a triplet, if you would like triplets you can purchase two of these items. You are allowed to choose the gender of ONE of the twins; otherwise you need to purchase the correlating gender package.

MERCHANDISE FOR ANY CHARACTER
House Sub-board: This is so your character can have a house board. You are responsible for the maintenance of the board. Please actually USE the board. Please remember that any overly intimate threads outside of a house subboard or hotel room are liable to possibly get you in trouble with us or be interrupted by the governing body of that board. As per proboards TOS, please no graphic breeding of any sort anywhere on the forum though. Don't buy a sub board if you aren't going to use it though, to keep down the unused board numbers!

Name Color Change: Your name can be a different color than standard colors. You must provide the hex code for the color you want. This is for a SINGLE color name.
