Devon wanted a reason to stab him, she wanted a reason to make him bleed whatever black shit that came out of a demons soul. She wanted to make him pay for what Blake did to her. And to lump her in with all the other waste of space, waste of oxygen souls that called themselves human just made the blade hot against her ankle. She glared at his back, wanting to have x-ray vision to dig a hole through his soul; whatever was left of it. The poor idiot though, the poor idiot was just some high and mighty man that needed to be neutered. Whether or not he was some disgusting monster didn't make him any less of something with a penis. He was no different than the idiots that came into the night club, wanting to grab her and touch her and she'd have to handcuff them because the bouncers were slow lazy assholes. She took a deep breath and leaned against the counter, staring at the wads of bills he had thrown at her. He really was a piece of shit just like the scum that came into the strip club. Whatever, his horse could starve unless he took care of it; if it was anything like he acted than she wasn't about to mess with his "perfect order" of things. Call her a sheep; but what he didn't realize was she was a wolf in sheeps clothing. She wouldn't of course do anything to hurt the otherwise innocent horse, but she wasn't going to help him take care of it unless he learned to treat her with a little bit of respect. She took another deep breath, and made her way out the door-not even touching the money. Preston could deal with it in the morning; she sure as hell didn't know where it had been. She went to the tack room, where she had originally been heading, and grabbed a horse blanket and a saddle pad. She'd use the horse blanket as a sleeping bag and the saddle pad as a pillow. She sure as hell wasn't leaving her poor new horse out there alone with a blood sucking psychopath who seemed to have a vendetta against her. She made her way back toward the pasture, stopping but a moment to look at him. "You'll find that I'm not your average piece of shit." She turned to look at him and his perfect little horse. "So you better watch what you call me, bloodsucker." With that, she walked away toward the paddock. She saw the mare on the ground and started to sprint, what was wrong with her? Had Prince done something because he was upset over Devon? She dropped the blanket and pad on the ground next to the fence, and quickly scrambled over it.
Prince's ears pinned back as the other stallion yelled at him, and he gave a battle cry and shrieked. "You lay one tiny hoof upon her and you will die a bloody death. I do not take what is not mine!" His horn glinted in the moonlight as if it was a mighty sword ready to piece the heart of an opponent. His ears flicked forward and his attention shifted to Devon, and for the first time in forever his ears flicked slightly back toward her-lowering his head as if to protect the mare from her.
Devon slowed as Prince's demeanor changed, and she cooed softly to him. He perked his ears forward and stepped away from the mare, the nightmare. But still, all Devon saw was a broken and untrusting little mare. She didn't care in that moment what fate befell her mortal body. It was evident that life had no meaning when vampires were allowed to roam freely. Dropping to her knees near the mare, she outstretched her hand to her. "My Exorcism; my saving grace, what's wrong?" She did not touch her yet, in case she did not want to be touched. She did her best to look her over; a black mare in a black night, but could see no obvious imperfections. What was wrong with her darling Exorcism?

Upon arriving to his precious Amade his body stiffened when he followed the attention of his horse. He'd seen Amade like this a few times before and it was around the nightmares of his manor when they were in heat. He almost wanted to laugh but was shocked when the mare didn't allow the stallion standing beside her to mount her instead she flopped to the ground and started to labor breathe. He watched as Devon came out finally and panicked when she saw the mare on the ground. It was almost instict when she dropped to the ground, he moved over at super human speed, wrapping his arm effortlessly around her waist and pulling her lightly back from the nightmare. "Stop, don't touch her. She'll burn you." And as soon as he spoke the mare's tail and mane started to flicker violetly, not high enough to lick Prince Charming but enough to scorch the ground. He leaned down to her, his lips next to her ear. "Just wait a moment and the flames will die down." He turned so his body was between Devon and Exorcism, preventing her from getting any burn damage. He was fully aware of the fact the unicorn could stab him through but his sole intent was to prevent any bloodshed from Devon, the human.
Exorcism's labored breathing continued, unsure of how to react. But sure enough as J had said, the flames did die down, but she still laid on the ground, her breathing too returned to normal. Watching Prince out of the corner of her eye, she wanted him both close to her, yet far away from her at the same time. The inner turmoil driving her mad.

Seeing Devon’s reaction to the mare collapsing, he stood stock still. He did not want to cause the mare panic. It was when the vampire appeared out of seemingly nowhere that his ears flicked and pinned, a squeal escaping him as he grabbed at Devon, head lowering to point his horn to him. What he saw the man do next though quieted him, and when the mare flames on and off again...he could feel her unease radiating from her. He glanced to Devon, before with a grunt he laid down beside the mare. He did not touch her much, but was there beside her should she want his comfort.
As soon as he grabbed her, her hand grabbed the knife in her boot. While she wasn’t as quick as him, she was quick enough to have it out by the time she had been tossed aside. At his remark, and the sheer heat of it, she could see the mares mane and tail light up like a bonfire, She screamed out, lunging for her as she thought she was going to be engulfed in flames, but was stopped by Jay’s body in the way. Tears strolled down her cheeks; not because the lunge and stumbling had caused her own knife to slit her hand olen and was dripping crimson, but because in the darkness not being able to see the mare well meant that not hearing her breath she might be dead. She stood and glared at J, screaming and sobbing as she shoved against him. “WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER! She was fine until you showed up!” Only when she grasped the knife to point it at Jay did a squeak of pain escape her, her hand and the blade bloody from the slit on her hand. Though he might not have been able to see it in her eyes,he could probably smell the fear. Not so much fear of being killed, but fear for her horse. Fear for being turned into a mindless vampire zombie like in some of the stories. She knew he was a vampire, but she didn’t know how pure he was...did that shit really matter?

J's body stiffened once more as the smell of blood filled his nostrils. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself as she yelled at him. "I didn't do anything. She's in heat. I could tell by how Amade reacted. She's alive, the blood pulses through her veins just fine." At the word of blood he closed his eyes as his fangs became elongated in his mouth, they threatened to poke through his lip as he kept his mouth closed. A low growl boiled in his throat and in a second he had gripped her hand she was bleeding from. His green eyes glew red through the dark night. He had her hand against his mouth in another second, but not suckling it. He paused, staring at her. He smelled her fear.
His lips were mere centimeters from the blood as it flowed down her hand, down her arm, in his palms were he held her arm. He pulled her arm down away from his mouth, and took another deep breath, his eyes returning to green and no longer glowing. He backed her to the fence, still holding her, but soon released her as he was sure she was against the fence. "Sheep need to be more careful around wolves." He said, in a whisper before removing his arm from her wrist and bringing it up to his lips and finally piercing his own wrist with his fangs. "Don't move." He said almost forcefully. He took some of his own blood in his mouth and placed a kiss in her palm, watching the wound close. "Some vampire's blood have healing abilities. Most do." He spoke against her palm, although the taste of her blood against his lips was intoxicating. He groaned as if in extacy from it.
J's eyes began to glow once again as his tongue lapped out over the blood trail, licking each drop, once her skin was clean, his fangs threatened to pierce her wrist.

The adrenaline courses through her, gulping as he grabbed her hand. She didn’t move, she stood rigid-waiting for him to start tormenting her. His hot breath on her wrist triggered things inside of her; but he stopped not a moment to soon and pressed her against the fence. She could feel the feelings boil up from her groin. This...this is how she could forget what his name entirely, and if he ever showed his face again she’d have no trouble showing him what he’d been missing. She exhaled deeply as he spoke, biting her lip at his words. She flipped the knife around and held the blade in her palm then, watching him kiss her wrist. And she saw the glow in his eyes. Positioning it; she winced as she slit her palm again; so close to his face now. “If I am a sheep, then I’m the black one-who sleeps with the wolf.” She let the blade sink in deeper, making sure that the blood was dripping before letting up.

As she spoke, he groaned, her words like honey to him as they entered his ears. "Stupid sheep is going to get hurt." He said, his tongue stroking at her wrist, he parted from it releasing it from his tight grip, still having a light grip on it. He groaned again, feeling his lower body stiffen. As she cut her wrist again, he groaned louder. "Stop." He snarled, knocking the blade from her hand. Although instead of letting the blood go to waste, his tongue glided over it. He no longer sensed fear from her, he could sense pheromones from her.
He could also taste from her blood what was going on, his free hand that wasn't holding her wrist at his lips, stroked over her stomach to her side, touching delicately. Instead of healing the wound he latched onto it, suckling at it, unable to pull himself from her blood now that he had a taste, as he parted for a breath, he let out a moan. "If your afraid of becoming a wolf, you won't. There's one spot I'd have to bite and we'd have to share." He said after his moan before diving back to her wrist again, his hand on her side moved to her neck and stroked her juglar vein.

“I’d rather be a wolf than a sheep.” Her eyes glinted, mixed feelings selling inside her. If he changed her, she could see the world through his eyes-see all the things she had never seen before. As he stroked her neck she groaned, bending away from the touch so that he could stroke more. He said his piece before started touching there; she could only assume. No one would be able to hurt her. And he wouldn’t be able to look down upon her with as much disdain. She knew things he didn’t, she had her ways. This was the answer she’d been waiting for. Still letting him suck her hand, she raised it slowly. Bending her neck toward his touch so the exposed side of her neck was the side her bloody hand was on. She dripped blood from her finger tips along her shirt, finally onto her neck. She looked straight at those glowing red eyes. “I don’t want to be a sheep anymore. Let me be your wolf bitch instead.”

Licking over the wound once more. J took more of his blood from his wrist into his mouth and kissed the wound healing it closed. "You choose to become a masochistic wolf?" He said against her flesh. He finally released her wrist, licking the blood from his fingers and thumb that had pooled their from her hand. As she offered her neck to him, he placed a kiss on it, fangs not puncturing. "Before I drag you to hell with me..." J trailed off, scooping his arms under her legs. He picked her up with ease and set her on the fence, his hand delicately stroking over her jeans on her thigh. Supporting her on the fence, his lips moved to her inner thigh and he used one fang to drag along her jeans, cutting them open to reveal her flesh of her inner thigh. He seperated the fabric with two fingers and sunk his fangs into her inner thigh, sucking at the blood there. It was only a few seconds, but he had hoped she felt extacy like he had. He ran his tongue over the fang marks, placing gentle kisses on them.
His arms curled around her waist as he pulled her to his chest, placing soft kisses against her neck. He sunk his fangs deep into her neck. Once again he moaned against her. He parted from her for only a moment, freeing one of his arms to come up as he dug two fingers into his neck puncturing two small holes, his blood running down his neck, he offered it to her.

Every human sense in her was rebeling against it, hating it, not liking the pain...not wanting to become something else. But then there was the darker part of her, the one that never wanted to be weak again, that screamed for more. She knew deep down that he’d always think she was stupid. That she’s always be beneath him and she’d never be seen as an equal. Maybe that’s what drove Blake away....her desire to surpass everyone else. At least though, with this new power; she’d be able to. She groaned at his touch on her thigh, willing him to do more to her. She cried so softly before moaning out as he came and bit her neck, and though she hesitated but a moment as she saw him dig his fingers into his skin so that she might suckle like a newborn...she leaned in to do so, running her tongue over it and tasting the bitter sweet blood on her tongue. It tasted different than her own, more...like...rosewood? Before she could even fathom anything further, several things happened:
For one, a sharp sting ran through her arm. When she glanced at it seeing only a tiny trail of blood from it; she also noticed the blow dart. One was also stuck into J’s thigh she noticed. Prince Charming had stood, and gave a mighty squeal he nudged the mare gently but then his full attention turned to Devon. His ears pinned flat against his head as he realiZed what the vampire was doing; manipulating her as he was, and with a battle cry he charged. Before she could even realize that she was growing dizzy, a man stood behind her and caught her. She knew those arms...she knew those arms as a child. She had not even known he was still alive. “A-A-Archie?” She cooed, trying to settle her bearings as another image, faded into the night because she wore all black, came from the direction of wear the cattle darts had come from. Her voice rang out clear as day, seductive and unwavering. “Lay one more fang on her sparkle miser, and I’ll pull them out by the roots and castrates you with an emasculator.” Valkyrie. She had known of her, she had seen her around, but she didn’t think they cared or remembered her. She heard another whizzing sound, a bit of a slap and a scream from Prince as his hooves smashed against the ground; just short of having landed a powerful blow to J and running the back of his neck through with his horn. Her vision faded-so she didn’t see the lasso that was attached to Prince from Valkyrie’s hands. She let loose a cry as she slumped against Archie’s silent arms, blacking out. She had gotten a taste of J’s blood before insanity ensued...but was it enough?

He felt a small prick on his thigh and he looked down noticing the dart. He didn't feel woozy yet, but he could feel the tranqulizer seep through his system. He let a low growl peel from his throat, possessive over his new pet. As she was pulled from his grasp he grasped at her again, not able to catch her as the man behind her pulled her away. The Tranqulizing dart in his leg inhibited his leg from moving, but didn't knock him down. He turned to see the unicorn's horn almost into his neck. His eyes glowed as he turned his attention to the woman that spoke. "I don't fucking sparkle." He snarled out, once again reaching for Devon. "Don't worry my kitten, I'll rescue you."
Out of the corner of her eye Exor caught what was happening, as Prince was stopped, she lept up from the ground, her mane and tail shooting flames to the sky. Flames engulfed her legs as well. She was on a rampage. Once to her feet she walked threateningly toward them, ready to destroy the vampire that hurt her owner.

Prince cried out in absolute horror as he snapped and tugged at the lead rope. "Exor stop-she has a chain." He said, hissing it out to the night mare. They'd have to come up with some way around this. They had to protect their owner; he could heal her from whatever the vampire did if he could get to her in time, but the woman tugged at the line again reminding him that she wasn't letting go. It did not cut at his neck like regular rope, but it was strong enough to keep him steadily contained. He only knew about the chains because he could hear them rattling; if this was the woman that Devon had spoke fondly of before than he knew that she would be able to lasso the nightmare just as she had lassoed him. He squealed out toward the paddock where he had heard screams of the other horse before, telling him to rape the mare and all. "Your precious vampire is in danger, horse! If you care for him as much as you do for raping mares, come quick!" He did not know what they planned. He did not know what the vampire had been doing, but it was nothing good...but Devon had not sounded pained.
Archie did not budge even as the vampire lunged. He didn't know what the man was or what he was doing, but there was one thing instilled in his brain and that was to protect the farm family. When he had seen Valkyrie sneak out, he knew something was up and his special operations skills kicked in as he snuck along with her to watch. It all seemed innocent enough at first; he knew Dark Angel wasn't innocent by any stretch of the imagination...but he could see the glint of the fangs. Everyone could tell when there was a vampire around. He had to hunt them over seas. He had watched men turn into raging lunatics, hungry for whatever would bleed fastest into their mouths, and those who would starve themselves to death because they refused. Architect knew far to much for the government to kill, perhaps because he knew how to be raised again, which is why they had shoved him here...poor government, not checking the other residents and seeing that he had 'family' here. "There's still time to change her back Valkyrie, but we need the blood of a unicorn...and a pure one." He glared to the vampire as he lunged for her again, and pulled her off the fence line cradling her in his arms. "Don't worry Angel, we'll get you back to normal." He whispered gently, eyes never leaving the vampire as he envisioned chopping off his head.
Valkyrie rolled her eyes. Why did Architect always have to talk in their code names? He sounded like an idiot. Especially now that he just gave away all their code names to this...infidel. The farm, at least as far as she knew or had been taught, didn't know about special creatures. It wasn't until she had found Archie again that she began hearing the horror stories, and knew they'd have to keep a close eye on Devon. She was one of the youngest, and had always wanted to be more powerful to be able to protect herself and those she loved. It was no surprise to them when she fell pray to the tricks of the vampire. Still holding taut the line between her and the unicorn, she inched toward the vampire up the rope. She would not fall into his trap like Devon have, she had all the power she needed. "We could see you sparkle a mile away, four fangs. Watch your words though, I let this rope go and you'll have a unicorn horn through your ass. As much as I'm sure you've tried it in the past, pretty sure it didn't go in the one hole only to come out the other." She was messing with fire but that was fine with her. She was used to that in her line of work, and it felt good to not be sticking to the script or the shadows. "And she's not a kitten, bitch. If we can't switch her back, you'll be damn lucky if you get out of town before she finds you-that girl is more tiger than you can handle."
Devon was still completely knocked out, swirling in the darkness of the tranquilizer. The taste of his blood still lingered on her tongue, like a sweet rose wine.

J's legs stayed firmly planted in the ground. He growled, listening to the woman to his side. Eyes glowing in the night, he was beyond pissed. He finally pulled the dart from his leg and threw it toward the man holding his kitten. He'd get her back, if they turned her back, he'd just change her again. She was his at this point. It's far beyond just letting her go now.
He smirked though, "She's tasted my blood, she'll always remember that. Whether she changes or not, she'll always remember me." He tilted his head to the side, the smirk still on his lips, confident in his words.
The flames grew stronger, almost engulfing the nightmare's entire body at this point. Flames flickered in her eyes as she took steps toward them not listening to Prince's warning. She closed the gap between her and the vampire and sent the flames to engulf around him, but pulled them back before they could and grabbed his hair with her teeth. He let out a growl, using fingers to claw at her but she didn't feel them, she threw him to the ground and arched her neck upward. Her stance becoming more threatening.
Amade looked between his vampire, the unicorn, the nightmare and the fence. He let out a srill sqeal unable to get to him with the fence between them.

She could hear it, the silence. She could hear every sound of it. The waning beat of her own heart; she knew this was the end. She didn't want to fight it, even though it wasn't what she had expected. She just let the poison take her. She could hear the thumping of the drums in her ears, as if a piano was playing in the darkness by the phantom of the opera. She had nothing left in this world, just her empty heart. Prince and Exor had each other now; they didn't need her to stand in her way. Not this regular human. She just wanted to be left alone, she didn't care anymore. The silence...the echoing silence in the darkness was deafening. She saw nothing, she felt nothing. Then from on high, somewhere in the distance-there was a voice that called to her. Remember who you are...if you lose yourself, your courage soon will follow, so be strong tonight.... She could feel a warmth run through her, and though she was still locked in the darkness, her body twitched slightly. Her pupils dilated and contracted, becoming slits instead of circles. Something more than just a transformation into the vampiric state was happening to her. The tranquilizer and mixture of the blood was doing something more than even J would be able to comprehend. The dormant DNA inside of her...the true animal nature of her, was becoming active. How, one may never know. Maybe it was the experiments they did on her at the Farm. She cuddled against Archie, a purr sound escaping her.
Archie did not let her go at first, but as she started cuddling against him his eyes grew as wide as saucers, and he set her down on the ground. He stood over her protectively, glaring to the man. The only sound he made was laughter when he was hurled across by the mare. "It seems like she's got it under control. I need to go back to Bayside." Never one for dealing with people longer than he had to, Archie exited.
Liv took position over Devon as J was getting assaulted by the raging nightmare. She didn't know how she'd save Devon, but she knew she had to figure out something.
Prince squealed as the mare reacted so violently; having never been one for violence. He did not stop her though, and instead went to the fence, leaning his head over toward the female. He tried to reach her with his horn, but to no avail.
Suddenly, despite everything, her eyes shot open and a yowl escaped her, as she sprung up to perch on the pole of the fence. Her eyes narrowed toward Liv. Her voice was thick, as if she was speaking through clenched teeth, when finally Devon spoke. "You're welcome to go now, you've had your fun of shooting me with a tranq gun." She hissed and lunged for Liv, who quickly knocked her away. She managed to catch herself, landing on all four as she glared toward her again, growling at her, but glanced toward Exor. She could see the flames now, but she still was not afraid. Leaping to the top of the fence and over, landing on her feet, she went to the mare. She hissed lightly as her hand was burnt against the flames, but she didn't care. "Exor, it's alright." She didn't even think about it as she leaned herself into the mare, letting the flames lick at her body and burn her clothes before reaching her flesh. "I'm okay. He just made me...better."
