Kaylen had instructed Megan to put the new recruit through a few..interesting paces, since tonight was the night of a full moon. She didn't really want Fadei to be involved with the students until she was sure he could handle their...strange abilities, which is why she had instructed Megan to put him through a few tests. Well, tonight was Megan's shifting night, and she normally stayed locked in her dorm munching on freshly killed deer from the butcher shop...but she could make an exception for her dear friend and boss.
And so, after all the kids were (supposed) to be in bed, Megan strolled out of the dorm in a black t-shirt and black jeans, out to the court yard. After shooing a few kissing couples off to their dorms for the night, she looked around and saw no one about. Glancing to the moon, she could tell it was almost midnight, Fadei should be arriving at any point now. With a little bit of a mischievous smirk, she shifted down to her black panther form; sleek as always.
Jumping up on the park bench, she laid her head down-flicking her tail gently to shake off a fly. She cross her paws and yawned, her eyes flickering as they threatened to close...until they finally did. It was just a little cat nap, after all, right? Her auds still flicked to the sounds around her, waiting for the sound of footsteps.

It was about midnight when Fadei had arrived to the destined meeting spot for his new job. He did feel way more awake at night anyway, well if he wasn't drinking or partying that is. The nineteen-year-old had taken a little bit of time to walk to the school grounds, seeing as it was a nice night he didn't want to waste any fresh air. Though upon finally getting to his destination, his steps slowed to a stop as he looked around. Now...just what was he supposed to do now?
Though it didn't take the young man long to eventually spot a darkened form on a bench. Now just what was that..? He slowly ventured closer, halting as he soon got the gist of what it was. Why in the world was a big cat loose on school grounds? Why hadn't anyone called animal control yet? Much less the zoo?
He slowly pulled out his phone to take a picture of the animal, just to have proof that it was actually there. He pulled him camera up on his phone and aimed it towards the animal, soon snapping a picture of it as the flash went off. After that he took a couple of steps back, his eyes already daring around for any means of quick escape if this thing so happened to try and come after him.

Her ears flicked as the footsteps reached them. One eye opened lazily to look at him and see who it was. Most of the students who were allowed out at this hour already knew what she was, and others that shouldn't she would scare the hell out of. But as she drew in his scent, she knew it was new...must be the new kid she was told to keep an eye on tonight. As he stood staring at her, she opened her eyes the rest of the way, letting them adjust to the lighting. It only took a second, but she was too late and he was already trying to snap a picture. Well-there were two options. She went with her gut, and from her laying down position sprung up and lunged across toward him. Her body easily lifted from the bench, easily covering the distance even though he'd taken a few steps back-how do you think panthers catch their prey in the wild? But her intent was not to attack him, and midway through the jump, she began to morph...so that when she landed she was a blonde haired blue eyed human with a big girn on her face, looking ever so much like a student and not the guidance counselor. Being that she was a were-panther, she wouldn't have been able to shift in front of him if he was completely human. She giggled and twirled a finger in her hair. "Soooo handsome, what are you?"

Fadei couldn't help but yelp as the panther leapt at him, only to shift into a human girl. He stumbled back a few steps until he just fell over out of surprise and looked up at her, baffled for several moments before he managed to pick himself up. He blinked and shook his head as he lifted a hand to run it through his hair at the giggled question, collecting himself in the process.
"Heh... Neat trick you got there, kitten... Though, uh, I'm not you. In more ways than one." He responded to her, managing a small grin he was oh so infamous for, even if it was a tad small at the moment. He then glanced towards what buildings he could see before his attention moved back over to her, lifting a brow slightly as his eyes looked her over and just took in her overall appearance. "Shouldn't you be in bed? You're going to make me look awful on my first night of the job. Here, just tell me where your building is and I'll walk you over to it. No one has to know a thing until you decide to break curfew again."

"No, but you're one of us, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do that. I was just asking what you were." She shrugged matter of factly, not seeming to care as she spun on her heels twirling her finger in her hair and plopped back down on the bench. Her rather girlish grin did not give away her age, nor did the mischievous twinkle in her eyes. Kaylen had not told her much about the boy, other than she wanted her to see what he was and if he might be a good fit to mingle with the kids. Obviously, if he had been a regular human it probably wouldn't be a good idea to keep him around at night, given the nature of some of their students. She rolled her head toward him as he spoke about his first night on the job, just giving a little bit of a giggle as she leaned back against the bench and stretched. "You don't know much about the school, do you?" She patted the bench beside her, batting her eyes at him to come join her.

Fadei scanned his eyes over her as she spoke and moved to sit down on the bench, quiet for a few moments. One of them...well, that was certainly one way to figure out he wasn't human. After a few moments he shifted his footing and opted to just remain where he was, not taking up her non-verbal offer to sit on the bench with her. "You know, all I was told was that I needed to pretty much keep people off the property and make sure students stay." He told her, pausing as he flicked his eyes up towards the windows closest to them. After a few moments he turned his attention back towards her, loosely crossing his arms over his stomach in a comfortable fashion. He was silent for about a minute as he watched her, having an internal debate. He couldn't pass himself as human now after...whatever just happened. Though how would they react to what he was? The job would be good to have...and it served to his nightly activity as well.
A sigh escaped him in almost what appeared to be defeat. His shoulders sagged slightly and he tilted his head to the side slightly as he scanned his eyes over the girl for a moment longer. "I'm a vampire." He admitted, his expression turning to one that said 'happy now?'.

Meg giggled and grinned, she loved messing with adults who thought they knew everything. Since she was so petite due to her illness as a child, it was easy for people to mistake her as one of the students instead of the guidance counselor. She also didn't get much chance to roam around at night, so this was a special treat for her. "A vampire, eh? Well that's original." She kept her expression in a grin though, emphasizing the word because of the lame TV show that had been on not to long ago called the Originals. It was far from anything she actually knew of vampires. Silly TV, pretty much got everything wrong. She looked the boy up and down with a nod. "So, you're the new security guard, eh? Supposed to be keeping us all in line here on campus at night?" She bit her tongue a moment, before continuing. "That old bat didn't tell you much about what goes on here, did she? It's a magic school; it's more than just the students you need to worry about, it's their alter egos or powers that they can't control. Spooky...right?"

At the mention of what he was, as well as a little jab or whatever at some vampire show, he rolled his eyes a little and shifted his footing slightly. "Yeah, yeah...because I'm so all-powerful and sparkly like Hollywood vampires." He mentioned with a shake of his head. Honestly, humans really did mess things up nearly all the time. Besides, it wasn't like he was dead either, or rather undead, his heart just...pumped more slowly than others. However, his attention went back to the girl as she spoke once more, giving her a single nod in response about him being the new night security guard. Though at her next words he just stared at her for several long moments before a breath of air escaped him and he lifted a hand to run it through his hair. "Well that's great to know. Though I need the job so I'll stay on as this. Might be good for me as well if I stay anyway." He paused with a small shrug, gesturing around with a hand briefly. "Anyway, you should probably head back to your dorm or whatever. It is late after all and I should do a patrol of the grounds once I've gotten everything sorted out so as to keep things...contained." He spoke up, taking a step towards her but doing nothing else aside from that. After all, he didn't want her to just randomly go all big cat on him again. If she could, but he wasn't going to take that chance. No way in hell. Ostrich

She couldn't help but giggle at his response; pretending to be one of the students was so much more entertaining than having to listen to all their whining. This poor sap was fresh meat, and though they'd probably get in trouble, it was the perfect opportunity to school him on everything the students might do here. She crossed her hands over her chest and looked to him, pouting with her big blue eyes. "I don't wanna go to bed. Don't you want the company?" She pouted a moment before a deep and throaty purr rolled out of her, batting her eyes at him. It was cute that he seemed afraid of her, even though she'd never hurt a fly least of all one of the staff. "It's really hard for me to sleep on night's like this," She said as she pointed up toward the full moon, bubbly and blonde as she could muster herself to be, "Being a were and all..." She uncrossed her arms and strode toward him, trying to read his expression to see the comfort level. Make sure he wasn't going to...take advantage of some of the students. She knew she wasn't the most attractive thing, but with hormones and pheremones raging...it got the job done. "So you'd either have to double lock me in from the outside, or you could just keep an eye on me all night, until you're done with rounds. And I don't much like being locked up...so can't I stay with you?" She batted her eyes again, as innocently as she could. "I can show you all the places to look for the more...regular trouble makers, and some of the places to keep an eye out...for the spoooooky stuff."
