Personality
Her name means "my love song", and she lives up to it. She has a very happy outlook on life most of the time, and always seems to be walking on sunshine. She'll sometimes randomly start humming songs that she had taken a fancy too, or start dancing about to the sound of the birds singing. She is very loving toward her friends and family. Though she keeps it well hidden, there is a nasty mean streak in her that is only about a millimeter wide but still there. She'll con people into getting what she wants by tricking them into thinking it's what they want to. She has somewhat of a short temper and can be upset very easily, often shutting down completely instead of getting in anyone's face. In times of hardship, she can be a strong leader if she has to; but she would prefer to stand by someone's side instead of by herself. She does not judge other horses quickly, and will instead find the goodness in them before writing them off.history
She does not have much of a past. She was born into an average horse herd, where her mother was higher up in the pecking order. She was to be exchanged with another stallion's herd, but she got separated from the herd during a snow storm last year and has been roaming ever sense. She gets lonely at times and will sing to herself, often bringing attention from unwanted parties. She has been able to run thus far; but for how long can the little girl run before the big bad wolf catches up?out of character

magic
Magical type:Psychic-Empath
Magical Abilities:
Cadence has an uncanny ability to push happiness or love upon others, spreading good feelings all around. She can sense feelings of sadness or remorse, but is not affected by them. Her ability to spread the happiness and love is through her song.
Appearance to Other Magic Users:
She does not appear any differently; though other psychics can sometimes see a bit of a glow when she starts to sing
Knowledge of Abilities:
Neither of her parents were magical, so it was a bit of a surprise when she was born with this ability. She really doesn't know she has it, other than when she sings it makes other people happy, and that she likes to cheer up others when they are sad.
Roleplay Sample
A soft tune could be heard above the trees; floating in the wind like a mother's sweet caress."Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods..."
It floated gently now, tickling the ear drums of whoever would listen to it, arousing emotion in those that thought they had none. It was the melody of what many thought were angels; such a simple song with so many meanings and undertones. Every note she hit on the dime, every word she breathed articulate and amazing in it's own way, as if each word was alive and dancing to the beat of the music.
"Where's the street wise Hercules to fight the rising odds? Where's my white knight, my handsome fiery steed? Late at night I toss and I turn and dream of what I need!"
She smiled up at the sun as it beat down on her; the land had been changing so drastically lately she hadn't been able to keep up with all of it-but at least she knew she would always have the sun shining down on her. The grass beneath her feet she tried her best to just ignore; it was scarred by the fires and she could only stare at it in longing of it's once beautiful greenery. She could only imagine what this land must have looked like before-the rolling hills providing cover in the rainy days, fillies and colts tumbling about as they played.
She was innocent still; and this was not the land the fair maiden should have ventured into so soon after arriving in the lands of Tainted Paradise, but she had lost her way quite substantially and did not know any better. She whickered softly to a butterfly as it quickly fluttered past; smarter than she in the respect of needing to get out of this particular land-there were dangers afoot. She didn't care, she didn't know-what she didn't know couldn't hurt her, right?
Her song continued on as the young roan femme pranced along; her neck arched and her tail raised to flitz about as she danced. She looked rather childish; a peaceful and innocent individual in the sea of worries and troubles.
"I need a hero! I'm holding out for a hero until the end of the night; he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast and he's gotta be fresh from the fight!"
She giggled softly as her voice had grown a little bit stronger, she could feel eyes in the trees watching her; but it did not disturb her. At last, she had an audience-something she had missed for some time. She hadn't been able to find anyone to talk to in nearly a year now; and her little heart had had to do much growing up on it's own without her family and friends there to support her. She was stronger than she looked-albeit still a little naive.
She spun about on the hilltop where she stood, her song building with the speed of her spin.
"I need a hero! I'm holding out for a hero until the morning's light; he's gotta be sure and he's gotta be soon and he's gotta be larger than life!"
She piroutted out of her spin, more or less, skidding down the side of the hill with a grin on her face and a giggle on her lips. Her banner flashed behind her; floating on the breeze like a simple wave in the water. She felt the gazes fall away from her now, at the childish act-and she couldn't help but notice her heart drop a little in her chest. Though she tried to fight them back, tears of her lonliness traveled down her cheeks; and she choked on the words of her song as she tried to continue; defiant to the feeling of lonliness in her heart.
"Somewhere after midnight, in my wildest fantasy...somewhere just beyond my reach, there's someone reaching back for me..."
The tears continued to streak down her cheeks for the moment; this song was more true to her than she had ever imagined it being so. Where was her white knight? And why hadn't she found the one reaching back for her yet? She felt so alone in this vast world, she felt like she couldn't accomplish anything by herself. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying her best to control her emotions. She could pull through this; she'd find herself someone again. As she began singing again, it took on a new tone-one searching for answers and a response; calling out for her hero.
"Racing on the thunder end, rising with the heat-It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet! I need a hero! I'm holding out for a hero until the end of the night; he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast and he's gotta be fresh from the fight...I need a hero! I'm holding out for a hero until morning's light! He's gotta be sure and he's gotta be soon and he's gotta be larger than life!"
She took another deep breath, her eyes still closed as her tail flicked behind her to keep time with the music. She kept perfectly still, pouring her heart out into the words; calling out for her hero.
"Up where the mountains meet the heaven above; out where the lightning splits the sea-I would swear there's someone somewhere watching me!"
Gently she began to sway with the music, letting it envelop her and carry her body through the music; would she be able to attract attention this way maybe? Her eyes stay closed-she wouldn't be able to see her attackers if anyone were so heartless as to do something to her.
"Through the wind and the chill and the rain and the storm and the flood; I can feel his approach, like a fire in my blood!"
She sighed deeply, though at last the tears had stopped flowing. She beamed up to the sun; her only constant companion besides the moon and stars at night. In this strange land though-the night seemed to always be filled with clouds; blocking her view of the sister moon and the daughter stars. She whinnied gently; still a melody worth sharing, and sang triumphantly.
"I need a hero! I'm holding out for my hero!"
