The red fins pushed the pale frame through the water, just until it reached the rocks just off the port beach. She had taken many rests on this beach recently, and more people seemed to come every day, but it wasn't fun to sit on these rocks during the day. As she poked her head above the water she drew in a breath of the salty air, as her red hair splayed out around her in the water she glanced at the sky. The sun was just licking the horizon, perfect, she thought. Using her upper body strength she pulled herself up on the rocks that just sat on the beach.[break][break]
Her red tail patted against the rocks to dry out enough she could trade the fins for a pair of legs. Once the tail separated she smiled and looked up, finally the sun had left the sky and it was dark. She didn't move from the rock, but merely shifted her wet hair to in front of her chest and straighten her back, lifting her head high in the air.[break][break]

Hating that shadowed sunlight through the window[break]
It’s hard to listen to just the requiem[break]

She began to sing her siren's song, tempting whoever to the rocks. Singing out to the sailors in the sea, singing out to the men of the island.[break][break]

Evil intention are being dyed, yes, don’t be shy![break][break]
Her voice could definitely carried a tune well, and she had used the song multiple times in the past and lured many MANY men to both their deaths and temptation. Either she would be happy with tonight.[break][break]

She held her hand out in front of her, reaching into the night, opposing had pressing to her chest. Turning her head slightly, she listened around her. The waves lapped at her feet on the rocks, this brought a smile to her lips, they felt like they were tickling. [break][break]
Is there something stuck to my face? The “temptation” is awakening[break]
The sun looks like it is close to sinking[break]
Appearing to feel like good quality velvet[break]
The pain stabs like a rose thorn…[break][break]
Stopping her song she looked around her, seeing shadows, but not sure if anyone was actually close. Instead of continuing to sing Serana looked out into the ocean, the moon showing brightly over the waves now.

Rauko had not had any fun in a while, and besides running into that other demon hadn’t really interacted with anyone of interest. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever see him again, and really didn’t care. The island was small enough that surely they couldn’t ignore each other forever.
He shook his head, stumbling a step. Suddenly he had an urge to be drawn to the beach. He did not frequent the beach it was too out in the open. Too many people coming and going; too easily to be killed. But something was drawing him closer; a nagging ring in the back of his mind.
He tried to stop himself, making his feet like lead. He knew that following his desires was always a bad idea. Nothing good had ever come from them. He tried to turn his body in the opposite direction and run, but it wouldn’t listen. It was a trap if ever he had seen one. Nevertheless, he couldn't stop himself, his feet kept carrying him closer to the beach. Finally, he just gave in and let his body do what he wanted, a hostage of his own. The nagging ring continued, until he was about to step from the dirt to the sands, and then he started hearing it. Singing.
It did not take him long after that moment to be enthralled in it, wanting to know what beautiful siren...but that was just it, a siren. He didn't have to be a demon to have heard the tales. Stay in an island town long enough and everyone has heard a tale or two of mermaids and sirens. He gulped as he tried once more to plant his feet, but it only caused him to face plant into the wet sand.
He lay there a moment, listening to her song. He lay there, fists clenched against the wet sand as it constantly put the flame in his hands out. Shadows was all she would have seen of him, but he could see her plain as day, tendrils hiding her body from the world as she continued singing. His body forced him up again, as he struggled against to try and out think his body from slinking closer.
"Vis bet aleam!!!"
He cried out, his arm finally springing up under his own control again with a fire ball in hand. The water sprite would not control him so easily, the latin of his old tongue seeping out into the open as he shouted.
"Aquam Ignem!"
He shouted, marching toward her now with purpose as he held his flame in one hand, eyes trained on the siren. His voice came out as a hiss as he stood yards from her now, ready to hurl the fireball but his body was rebelling once more, forcing him to stay feet planted in the sand.
"Tu alea ludere igne..."
((Do you want to bet the gamble, Does water fear fire, do you gamble the play with fire...yea they're dumb sayings We'll just say his latin is rusty)

Her eyes lay cast over the water, watching as the waves licked the sky, the moon drawing higher in the sky. Her fingers placed on the rocks beneath her, but they didn't hold it.[break][break]
As the rusty Latin entered her mind, she turned to face where it was coming from. Her dark eyes even darker, hidden under her hair. "Sic etiam operatur." She said to him, her Latin probably just as rusty as his. [break][break]
She lifted her body from the rocks, falling into the waves, only to break the surface moments later and taking a soft step onto the sand. She looked down to his hands then up to his face. "If your Latin is that rusty, English suffices." She said, looking at the flames in his hands again. "Put that away. Water and fire don't mix." She said, her head tilted to the side. "It's been a long time since I used my siren's song." The words wouldn't stop, and they poured like honey, but held a ting of Irish accent.[break][break]
Each time she spoke though, she continued to walk toward him, before she was feet from him. The sand stuck to her feet, although she enjoyed the feeling. She loved the feeling of having two legs, a joy she could only enjoy at night. As his feet were planted firmly in the sands as well, her hand reached out toward him to run across his cheek, but she stopped before actually touching him, and she dropped her hand to her side. [break][break]
Serana's lips turned up, she was pleased with the catch she had with her siren song. "You know, if my voice carried you this far, I could pull you into ocean. Watching you drown would be entertaining, but a demon like you? Not worth drowning." She said, finally closing the distance and placing her cool fingers of her left hand on his cheek. She didn't fear the fire from him, but it's warm reminded her of it's power.
