Marionette's body was anxious, happy but anxious they were really leaving this hazardous terrian, for greener lands. She stood rather far over the sands from their meeting spot for leaving, her tail flicking behind her. Ever since the twins were weaned and she no longer had to nurture them she wanted another foal by her one and only love. Today would be their last love in these lands. She swayed back and forth on her hooves eagerly awaiting her painted knight. One last day alone for a while. Ears rotated, listening for the moving sands of his body to come. Ostrich, it's poop...

Skellington Jack made his way toward her smell, stalking it along the lands. The others were resting, saving their energy for the journey tonight. As he would be soon, just as soon as him and Marionette has made their last love in these lands. He made a beeline for her once he sighted her behind the sand dunes, his mind completely engrossed in the mare before him that he did not notice who had followed. He bickered gently. Though he wanted to please her, he also knew that they needed rest before the journey and would need to be quick. “Are you ready my sweet?” His voice was gruff as he tried to shut the voices out, wanting at least the alone time.
Scorpion had followed; though he was the one who suggested it, he had not expected his parents to comply so quickly. They seemed to jump at the chance to do it; though he did not even know what IT was. Curiousity got the best of him, despite having been resting by his sister-and seeing she was asleep he had made his way behind them. He tried his best to be like a snake and slither through the sand, but his coat color did not blend so well with it. He crawled closer though, eyes wide as he watched pieces of his father he shared suddenly...grow in mysterious ways. Pawing a bit at the sand, he watched his mother and father in a small dig out that he had made.

Marionette's head turned toward his voice, she nickered to him. She too knew they would have to be quick and she was rather happy to be his last love in this land. "Of course my painted knight." She said, coming toward him before bracing herself and lifting her tail.
Painted Doll was sleeping happily in the sand, at least in the shade, not far off from their meeting place, but as the extra warmth beside her left, her body became rigid. Confused, she opened her eyes and looked beside her to see her brother had left. Her eyes traced the hoof prints he had left behind him and soon rose from the ground, following his hoof prints, her pace slow. She shook the sleep from her eyes as she walked toward them, but as she noticed Scorpion down on the ground she too crouched as she came up beside him. "Why did you leave me?" She asked, her gaze following his out to the sand dunes, completely confused at what was transpiring in front of them. One could blame it on the fact she was still half asleep.

Skellington almost purred, or perhaps it was Oogie who was doing the purring as she turned her rump to him. He nipped at it, playfully at first before getting a little harder before tossing himself on her back and lurching forward to meet her. He bit at her tresses as he did, not noticing the children had followed them as he was completely lost in the moment. "I love you, my sweet Maid Marion."
Scorpion hissed slightly as his sister approached, in an effort to tell her to hush as he tried to hear what was going on. He looked to her, nuzzling her cheek and combing at her mane with his teeth. His eyes stayed transfixed on Skellington and Marionette. He gaped when his father hurled himself on top of their mother, eyes growing wide and dropping the hair that had been in his mouth of his sister's. His auds pinned to the words at first, then softened. His gaze looked to his sister. "If you love someone, is that what you do to them? We love each other, don't we?" He had heard the word love from his mother when she showered him with affection, but he had not heard it from her in regards to his sister. He had started using it toward his sister though, so did that mean they loved each other?
